Our custom van cages are hand-fabricated from mild steel frame structures engineered to contour to the exact interior lines of your vehicle. Built for commercial durability, every cage incorporates anti-rattle latches, emergency escape hatches, and water-resistant resin flooring.
Mild Steel Frames, Latches & Partitioning
Every component in our cages is selected to balance structural strength, animal safety, and quiet operation while driving.
Powder-Coated Steel Frame
Constructed from mild steel tubing, finished as standard in a tough matte black powder coating. The coating provides a water-resistant layer to combat corrosion from wet coats and washdowns. Custom colours are available on request.
Anti-Rattle Slam Latches
Cage doors feature spring-loaded latches or slam lock latches engineered to click shut instantly. Built with tight mechanical tolerances to minimise metal-on-metal rattling during transit over uneven roads.
Removable Escape Panels
All rear cage compartments integrate internal emergency escape hatches. If rear van doors are impacted or blocked in an accident, animals can be safely retrieved through the side doors via internal panels.
Mesh Gauges & Solid Sheet Steel
Standard panels feature 2-inch steel mesh for optimum ventilation. 1-inch mesh is also available. For reactive or nervous dogs, internal partitions can be specified in solid sheet steel to block sightlines between cages.
Resin-Coated Plywood Flooring
Included as standard across all builds. Our resin-coated plywood base is robust, highly water-resistant, and features an anti-slip texture. It prevents spills from soaking in and makes end-of-day cleaning straightforward.
Upper Wooden Storage Shelves
Maximize headroom by fitting custom wooden shelf panels atop cage compartments. Ideal for storing leads, towels, grooming kits, and jump boards cleanly out of reach of pets during transit.
